Enrico Lopez-Yañez wants you to see the Nashville Symphony. And he doesn’t care if it’s because you have a deep appreciation for classical music.

Pacific Symphony’s new pops conductor, Enrico Lopez-Yañez, isn’t a typical conductor, however. Lopez-Yañez made his debut at Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall over the weekend with a two-night performance of the “Music of Star Wars,” which included themes from John Williams and Michael Giacchino.

Under the guidance of Enrico Lopez-Yañez, the Principal Pops Conductor of the Nashville Symphony, the evening was nothing short of magical.

The selections for the program were taken from all of the movies and Lopez-Yanez drew the audience in not only with the shared memory of enjoying the films, but by narrating various aspects of the wizarding world.
