Five-time Grammy Award® winner Angélique Kidjo entrances audiences with her striking voice, stage presence, and visionary fusion of West African culture, American R&B, Latin music, funk, dancehall, and jazz.
A creative force with sixteen albums to her name, Kidjo has been named one of TIME’s Most Influential People, listed as one of The Guardian’s Top 100 Most Inspiring Women in the World, and ranked first on Forbes’ Most Powerful Celebrities in Africa list. Her work is expansive—encompassing everything from exploring the roads of Africa’s diaspora, to offering an electrifying take on the Talking Heads album Remain in Light, to collaborating with Alicia Keys, John Legend, Carlos Santana, Bono, Philip Glass, Branford Marsalis, Dianne Reeves, and many others. A once-in-a-lifetime performance!
